Jumuia Hospitals Ltd is seeking to fill the position of a ICT Assistant immediately. Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the above position based in Huruma, Nairobi County. The position holder will report to the Hospital Administrator.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates staff members by establishing e-mail address, data backup, ensuring efficiency of hardware and software and other IT related matter.
  • Provides/requisites solutions e.g., modification/upgradation of IT system/ infrastructure if needed for any Medical purpose.
  • Installs, Manages and troubleshoot Intercom Telephone, biometric system.
  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots Microsoft windows OS and MS Office, PowerPoint and other necessary software’s for reporting.
  • Provides IT-related support to outdoors events and to provide technical supports
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware. software. systems, networks, printers and scanners, check computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
  • Perform Cabling and installing of trunks where required
  • Installation of software on end user PCs, with maintenance of versions as required.
  • Manage network servers and technology tools and ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Ensure delivery of ICT projects on time and budget.
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
  • Create visual communications such as adverts, branding, publicity materials and magazine layouts.
  • Support the ideation and development of content for social media marketing and activities.
  • Ensure security of data, machines, through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Provide user and technical support including staff training availability, security, confidentiality and integrity of information and ICT infrastructure.
  • Manage the Hospital website, Internet, the LAN, WAN with other areas concerned.
  • Performs in addition to these, any other task assigned to by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in information technology or computer Technology.
  • Relevant computer training certification
  • Knowledge of Smartcare/ Intersoft, Office 365 is an added advantage
  • Must possess and demonstrate knowledge and application of ICT.
  • Must possess Digital Marketing Skills and creative in graphic design
  • Experience Level   – Middle level
  • Experience Length – 2 years
