ANTENATAL AND POSTNATAL CLINICS

These clinics are exclusively designed for pregnancy care before and after the delivery. In Antenatal care, the mother is educated well about the risk and complications involved in pregnancy followed by USG, Blood tests and Urine tests. They have to visit the gynecologists’ regularly to ensure safe delivery.

In Postnatal care, the mother’s physical and mental health is focused as she undergoes various changes in taking care of the new-born. She is advised for rest, nourishment and vaginal care along with breastfeeding technique guidance.

VAGINAL DELIVERY : When a child is born naturally through vagina, it is called as Normal or Vaginal delivery. The mother will have less risk or complications and she would need to stay at the hospital for 2-3 days. When a child is born through surgical mode, in which a cut is made in the mother’s abdomen and uterus, and it is referred as ‘Cesarean section’ or ‘C-section’. It is usually advised in the conditions such as, twin pregnancy, previous birth via C-section, any surgeries before, breech position and other abnormalities. The gynecologists’ will plan before and you need to stay in the hospital for a minimum of 4-5 days until you become stable.

LAPAROSCOPIC HYSTERECTOMY

It is a less invasive surgical procedure in which two or three incisions are made in the navel and a special instrument with camera is inserted which assists the doctor to observe and he/she excises the uterus. There will be minimal blood loss, pain and recovery is fast. You need to stay at the hospital for 2-3 days until you become stable.[

LAPAROSCOPIC MYOMECTOMY

The benefit of having laparoscopic myomectomy is small incisions are made rather than one big incision in the stomach. Only fibroids that are small in size are removed by laparoscopic method and larger ones are removed by traditional method. A special instrument which has a camera is inserted and then the surgeon removes the fibroids attached to the walls of the uterus. The patient needs 2-3 days stay and surgery is done under general anesthesia.
